What methods of payment does the VeloBellUSA.com web store accept?

We accept all major credit cards through our ecommerce platform’s payment processing service, and we also accept PayPal, Venmo and Apple Pay.

What are your shipping options and are shipping costs included in the item price?

We ship to all US addresses including FPO/APO with an economy option, USPS Ground Advantage, and an expedited option with USPS Priority Flat Rate. During checkout you will be prompted to choose an option. Note that shipping costs are not included, but our shipping charges are reflective of our costs, no markup.

Why do I get a very high shipping cost added to my cart for an order with 19 bells or greater?

If you are attempting to place a large order (greater than 18 bells)—first and foremost, thank you very much—secondly please email, text or call that you wish to make a large order and we will quote a very reasonable shipping charge! It is an unavoidable limitation of our store’s ecommerce platform and the approach we have taken to keep shipping costs on small orders as low as possible.

What is your return policy?

If you receive a defective or damaged product, or we make an error on the order, please contact us and we will email a return label and replacement at our cost, or a refund of product cost if that is your preference. Please contact us at velobellusa@gmail.com with a brief description of the issue and we will make it right. For other returns, we will provide a return label at our rate but the actual cost of shipping will be subtracted from your refund. Product returned for your convenience must be in new condition, in the original packaging or we will charge a restocking fee of 15%, deducted from your refund.

What is the weight of the bell on the bike?

The total weight of the bell with mounting is approximately 70 grams, about 2.5 ounces.

Does it require any tools for mounting or unmounting?

No, the bell is attached via a Velcro strap, it is easily mounted and unmounted from your handlebar. For extra security, a cable tie can be added.

Is the mounting system rigid or flexible?

The bell is attached to the handlebar with a fabric strap, and hangs down so that it can ring freely. It is not mounted rigidly, so that it does not become a hazard in a crash.

Does swisstrailbell® require any care and maintenance?

No special care or maintenance is required. Dirt can be allowed to dry and easily brushed off the strap. The powder-coated finish protects swisstrailbell® from corrosion. For additional protection, we recommend wiping swisstrailbell® with a spray silicone lubricant such as WD40®, inside and outside the metal bell.

What is the product warranty?

swisstrailbell® is warranted for 2 years against defects in materials and or manufacturing. In the case of manufacturing or material defect, contact velobellUSA@gmail.com for warranty return and replacement instructions.

Is there a warranty of use for swisstrailbell®?

No, swisstrailbell® is provided without warranty, either express or implied, for fitness for a specific purpose. Because conditions and methods of use are beyond our control, neither manufacturer nor seller will assume any responsibility for use or misuse of the product. This includes but is not limited to, any consequential or incidental damages.
